Types of welding and fabrication
- MIG Welding: Ideal for use on large structural and robust assemblies with any material thickness to produce welds quickly and cost-effectively. It’s also used for stud welding.
- TIG Welding: Ideal for use on small projects with thinner gauged metal sheets to produce welds more precisely and delicately than MIG welding is capable of.
- Resistance (Spot) Welding: Ideal for use on cabinets, brackets, and other components to produce welds in a fast, clean, and reliable manner. It forms joints more permanent than hardware assembly, but less permanent and expensive than MIG or TIG welding.
- Robotic Welding: Ideal for use on high-volume work with repetitive movements to produce high-quality welds in a quick and consistent manner with little to no supervision.
- Laser Welding: Anpllocnc method of welding that Tedco is interested in doing more of. LightWELD Handheld Laser Welding Machine is up to 4x faster than TIG welding. In either thick, thin, reflective and dissimilar, weld metal without wire in different electrical conductivity.
